Overview
LYM is a city of politics and class disparity. Where one could get mugged blind on one end by someone struggling to survive or buy a gilded carriage on the other. At it’s center stands the massive City Hall, a former castle from before the formation of the Kingdom of South Cenar.
Notable Figures
Alforus Venduil the son of Baron Galleen Venduil serving Henry, Earl of Mayville
- A young man focused on his work. Unaware of what has happened to his father back home he seeks to raise his status and be recognized by the Earl of Mayville in the hopes of elevating his father and then himself. Henry, Earl of Mayville
- the elderly Earl of Mayville serving Johansus Duke of Yarvin; lost his family in a fire a few decades back; has not named an heir to the earldom Carlo, Earl of Olym
- a haughty individual and earl to the largest city in the Dukedom of Mayn; focused on gaining power and hoping to make himself the singular power on the council of LYM City when Henry, Earl of Mayville kicks the bucket. Tepri, Earl of Dawston
- a mild manner and polite gentleman; the recently appointed earl of the Dukedom of Lorsan’s largest city. A bit of pushover in personality, finances, and political goals. He knows the aristocrats within his section of LYM are constantly pulling the wool over his eyes about providing what they owe to his Duke as well as being aware but unsure of what to do for the common people of LYM. The Wandering Gastronomers
- LYM has been a common city for the group to visit over the millennia. When it was a small village it was a chance to take fresh ingredients and show the farmers what their work could do. When it was a capital it was a place to dine with the noble houses and punish those who lacked the ability to respect the work. Now it is a place to feed the undeserving their just desserts and the poor a second round.
