The scholar of a recent age. Little is known about Janis but he has continued to release research notes for longer than natural.
His released research goes from simple traveling notes on weather and events to complex examination of monster ecology and spell structures.
Janis is one of the Heros of Leyline who defeated Leyla the Corrupt and rose to divinity as a result of the events. Master of hidden knowledge Janis moves about Æralia and the surrounding planes seeking truth and working to use what he knows to sway events towards outcomes that will reveal deeper truths of the world.
