Laws of the Natural World - The Elements
In Æ’s last act they surrendered their body and, front it’s form, created the four elemental gods. Alcenomo the Sapphire Queen, Astyphia the Quartz King, Oreanyx the Ruby Warrior, and Verodea the Emerald Guard came into their own and organized themselves to rule over the flowing powers of raw magic left in Æ’s final actions. Through these efforts these gods created the flowing plane of elements that enwraps the world of Æralia.
Now, these four gods have formed the Elemental Court as the Laws of the Natural World.
Laws of Mortality - The Cycle
In the age of ??? the Origins came to accept that those they created required a binding force to restrict their ability to spread and multiply. After much council they determined to create the gods of the cycle. Dailawni (Dawn) of the Beginning, ???, ???, and Durcascus (Dusk) of the End’s creation formed the bounding elements of the mortal life and, as a result, ended the period of unending life of the early ages of Æralia.
There four gods tend to act independently but see one another as siblings and meet on occasion to simply stay in touch. It is said that Dawn and Dusk and ??? and ???, respectively, are twins though Dawn is always referred to as the eldest and Dusk as the youngest.
